5 of 5 Great Lure October 2, 2024

This summer I discovered this brand from someone fishing the same spot and I immediately fell in love with this lure and its versatility: I was able to catch almost every saltwater species available from land: speckled trout, redfish, croaker, white trout, ladyfish, catfish and to my surprise a baby shark.  The only 2 flaws being:
1. The weighted hook sinking too deep into the plastic mold, the bottom side of the plastic cracks, exposing the lead after 2-3 fish and eventually the entire lure is ruined. Sometimes the bottom side of the plastic is already cracked in the package.
2. Bigger redfish easily bend the hook of the Shrimplet lure. For this problem, try the M54 Glide Shrimp
All together a solid 9.9 out of 10.

I am impressed with these baits.  I sell live shrimp as bait and always have some with me but lately they are just well traveled shrimp because of the Shrimplets. Our speckled trout inhale these little things.

The shrimplets are a great product that work very well. Best plastic shrimp lure I have ever used, by far.

First cast with the shrimplet caught a 19 inch speckled trout.  That says it all.
